EP 12: Kathryn Sneed and Brand building from a Client’s Point of View

September 5, 2018

"If you want to have a lot of clients you've got to make yourself a brand."

We live in a world where therapists are expected to do more than merely see clients. We now must become a personal brand. Who better to learn from then the people are have mastered personal branding: Influencers.  In this episode Ryan and I sat down with influencer and therapy client, Kathryn Sneed. As a therapy client and influencer she offers unique insights into how therapists can build their brand and grow their platform. In this episode we cover:

  • The importance of self promotion and facebook groups
  • Social media marketing,
  • What to include in your bio

And more...

My takeaway from our discussion: Small businesses are different than influencers in one big way- influencers have groups which support each other's work. How can we as therapist use the power of groups to reach people who need our services?

You can learn more about her experience in counseling here.
